A 2000W hair dryer that comes with four attachments: a concentrator and a flyaway tamer for smooth styles, plus a gentle drying diffuser and a curl-defining diffuser for curly or wavy hair.

2000W motor; air speeds up to 120 km/h (Remington figure); 8 heat/speed combinations (per the product page; the booklet describes a heat switch with low/medium/high, a fast/slow speed button and a cool shot button); Thermacare sensor that Remington says regulates air temperature to protect against extreme heat. Attachments: Slim Styling Concentrator, Flyaway Tamer, Gentle Drying Diffuser and Curl Defining Diffuser (magnetic prongs that fit the diffuser bowl). Wash and condition, squeeze out excess water with a towel and comb through. Concentrator: rough-dry to about 70%, then dry in sections over a round brush on high heat/fast speed and finish with the cool shot. Flyaway Tamer: on dry, straight or straightened hair, high heat/fast speed, running slowly down from the roots. Gentle Drying Diffuser: high heat/slow speed, hovering the bowl over the roots then the lengths until dry. Curl Defining Diffuser: medium heat/slow speed, head upside down, placing hair in the bowl and rotating slightly. If it overheats, unplug it and clean the grille/filter.

From the Remington instruction booklet: do not use near baths, showers, basins or other vessels containing water, and unplug after use in a bathroom. Keep the airflow away from eyes and do not let any part touch the face, neck or scalp. Attachments get hot, so let them cool before removing. Do not block the air grilles. Hairsprays are flammable, so do not use them while using the dryer. Do not twist the cable or wrap it round the dryer; stop using it if the cord is damaged. Do not leave it unattended while plugged in. Keep it and the cable out of reach of children under 8; older children only with supervision. Not for commercial or salon use.
