Use on clean, dry, tangle-free hair; Remington suggests a heat protection spray. Section hair and style the lower layers first. Start on lower temperatures. Remington's guide: 160-180°C for thin/fine, damaged or bleached hair; 180-200°C for normal hair; 200-230°C for thick, hard-to-style hair. Run the straightener down the full length of each section without stopping. Test the 230°C boost on a small section first. Let it cool, then wipe with a damp cloth (no harsh or abrasive cleaners) and lock the plates for storage. Do not heat it while locked.

Do not use near baths, showers, basins or other vessels containing water, and unplug after use in a bathroom. Never leave it unattended while plugged in; place it on a heat-resistant, stable, flat surface. Do not let it touch the face, neck or scalp. Hairsprays are flammable, so do not use them while styling. Do not wrap the cable round it; stop using it if the cord is damaged. Contains traces of nuts (plates are almond-oil infused).
