- What it is
A once-daily minoxidil foam medicine. The patient leaflet says it treats common female pattern hair loss in women aged 18–65 by preventing further hair loss and helping hair regrow. It works best for general thinning of the scalp.

- How to use
Women aged 18–65 only. Once a day, on a completely dry scalp and hair, apply up to 1 g (half a capful) of foam. Part the hair (a centre parting and at least 2 more on each side), then massage the foam into the thinning areas of the scalp, not the hair, from back to front. Wash your hands before and after. It may take 12–24 weeks of once-daily use before new growth shows; continue once daily to maintain it.
- Cautions
Not for men, anyone under 18 or over 65, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use no more than once a day. Do not use with unexplained, sudden or childbirth-related hair loss, total baldness, high blood pressure, a shaved scalp, or scalp conditions such as sunburn or psoriasis. Do not use alongside scalp creams or lotions such as dithranol, tretinoin, corticosteroids or petrolatum. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist first if you have heart disease or take vasodilator blood-pressure medicines. Apply only to the scalp and avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin. Stop and see a doctor if you get chest pain, a fast heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, swollen hands or feet, or persistent scalp irritation. It may cause temporary extra shedding in the first 2–6 weeks and unwanted hair growth elsewhere. Keep children away from treated areas. The product is extremely flammable.
